An established mining executive, Barry Kevin O‘Rourke guides S.A.B. Mining in Guyana. Serving as the company’s director, he sources and extracts a range of export-valued minerals and metals, including gold and diamonds. Barry Kevin O‘Rourke carries out these activities on jungle lands that encompass more than 30,000 acres spread across over 25 parcels.
Mr. O‘Rourke oversees operations near those of Guyana Goldfields. One of the nation’s largest gold producers, it yields more than 250,000 ounces annually. The endeavors of S.A.B. Mining are coordinated through the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC), which works with investors and mine operators in developing sustainable pathways forward for mineral-resource mining enterprises.
